Welcome to my photoblog.  I am an amateur photographer, based on Mexico City.  My interest in photography started as a random event around 12 years ago, when I ran into a Basic Guide to Photography Book by John Hedgecoe.  At this point I borrowed my father's 30-year-old 35 mm Nikomat and started shooting in film. Since then I have been shooting mainly as a hobby. My interest in photography experienced a rebirth and boost with digital media and the internet 6 years ago.  I currently shoot exclusively in digital format.  Not having formal education on photography, the web and mainly text books have been my main source for learning new techniques and methods.
